It's not in the recipe, it's in the way they are cooked and attention to detail. Trust me -- best ever!
Preheat oven to 375. Cut butter into 1tsp slices. Place into blender and mix until butter is softened. Add sugar and brown sugar. Mix until it is creamy. Add eggs, mix. Add Vanilla Extract, mix. Pour in 3/4 c flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking soda, mix. Repeat. Pour in last 3/4 cup of flour, mix. Add chocolate chips, mix.
Cut parchment paper to place on air bake pan. Place into 1 inch balls on air bake pan. Bake at 375 for ~12 minutes, until just golden brown. Take them out when they are still soft. Don't overbake!
