I Want Some Bling Bling Shoes, Too!

Kids these days have it MADE!  I'm telling you, they get all of the coolest stuff.  And, we encourage them to be themselves, enjoy life and giggle.  Every day my daughter comes home from school, I ask her if she had fun.  When was the last time you came home to your sweetie at night and they said to you, "Hey babe!  Did you have a fun day at work?"

Now, we had cool stuff as well growing up.  Who doesn't remember how much fun it was to play Frogger and Pong?  And who didn't learn the secret "up, down, up, down, A, B, A, B, start" trick to get unlimited lives on Super Mario Brothers?  And who didn't wish that they could dress as cool as Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski?  Yes - good stuff - but making a frog jump across a street does not nearly compare to Rock Band!  That game is *awesome*.

And birthday parties.  I took my daughter to a birthday party over the summer.  When I dropped her off, I could not believe what was in the back yard.  Literally 2 double decker jumpy houses with attached water slides.  I am not joking.  The best we had as kids was a slip-n-slide!

And the clothes.  I find the children's clothing at Target often more stylish than the adult clothes at Nordy's.  What's that about?

And the shoes.  We had Zips and Kangaroos.  Kids today have shoes with roller skates in them and lights that blink when you walk.  My daughter has the coolest shoes ever -- the Skechers Razzle Dazzle Sneaker.  We call them her "Bling Bling" shoes.  So fun and adorable!

There is no two ways about it -- kid stuff these days rocks.  Companies make child size versions of adult things ...  why don't they make adult versions of kid things?  How fabulous would it be to have a soft padded bouncy chairs to sit in every day?  Or an adult size Little Giraffe blanket to snuggle up in bed with?  Or, my favorite, to have a pair of sexy pumps that had blinky lights in them!  How much fun would it be to sport some adult "Bling Bling" shoes for a night of dancing on the town?  If any of you ever find some, send me the link and I'll buy several pairs!
